This can either be a half day tour, solely focused on Game of Thrones sites, or a full day tour, that also has you see the island's prime sites, if your time allows.

Departing, travel to the walled city Mdina, which had stood in as King's Landing, to be dropped off just outside the walls. See a number of intramural sites used in the various shots that happened here, amongst them the Vilhena City Gate, where Ned and Catlyn had their parting embrace, Mesquita Square where the sword duel between Ned and Jamie Lannister took place, Little Finger's brothel balcony, and Coppersmith's Wynd Cobbler's Square.

Proceed towards St. Dominic's Priory in Rabat close-by, to what was the Red Keep Garden, where Ned tells Cersei he intends going public with the knowledge that her children were not Robert's. This is when she utters the prophetic dictum 'When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die, there is no middle ground'.

Drive through the Boschetto Gardens to view the 400 year-old Verdala Castle, Illirio's Mansion, outside which, Daenerys and Viserys meet Khal Drogo.

On further, into some lovely countryside to visit the Mtahleb Cliffs, the site for the Dothraki camp, and continue up to Manikata, viewing more spectacular countryside, to come to the Village of Lhazareen.

Turn around, to start descending towards Valletta, and stop to have a relaxing lunch (only on a full day tour), whilst enjoying a lovely 180 degree view of the north-east part of the island; then roll down towards Valletta's harbour for a best view of Fort St. Angelo, which stood in as the Red Keep, in whose dungeons, Ned was kept prisinor. The lovely spiral columns for the gates of the Red Keep, where Arya arrives back after sneaking out from the secret passage, in fact belong to Fort Ricasoli, and can only be approached by boat.

Finally to view Fort Manoel, the Sept of Baelor, where Ned is beheaded in front of his children.

If able to manage a full day tour, you can choose to visit Valletta, to follow up with a short walk down the top of Repbulic street that shows off some resplendent buildings, once the residence of Knights or well-to-do Maltese. This little walk brings you to St. John's co-Cathedral, where you will have a conducted tour, which ends with viewing the two Caravaggio paintings, housed in the Oratory. St. John's, undoubtedly Valletta's principal monument, what used to be the Conventual church for the Hospitaller Order, and deservingly splendid.

Another site that we highly recommend adding to the tour is Vittoriosa, the Maritime city, situated across the harbour. It is just the place where the Knights of St. John first settled, before building Valletta, and it was from here that they fought what came to be known as 'The Great Siege'. A short stroll along the Collachio, will have you see the Knights' Auberges, in what used to be a fashionable district. You only have to venture just outside, for a behind-the-scenes tour of a traditional neighbourhood, allowing you to get a glimpse into Maltese life, a great way to end your tour.

The itinerary as proposed for the full day tour, can be altered to include other sites of your preference, in lieu of Valletta and Vittoriosa.

I am there to meet you with chauffeured transport, upon arrival, at the cruise terminal, the hotel, or as required. The tour, starts and ends at your request, moves at the preferred pace, for convenience and comfort, for making your holiday one to remember.
